ABOUT ME I am a current master’s student and graduate teaching assistant at the University of Illinois at Chicago focusing on cultivating dedication and inclusivity through my work. I aspire to become a population/conservation geneticist and molecular ecologist and am dedicated to employing ecological genetics to threats in conservation biology. My experience working with native milkweed populations and interning and volunteering in leading wildlife research institutions fuels my dedication to protecting and restoring biodiversity. I am enthusiastic in recognizing and promoting the development of gender and race minorities and women in STEM fields as well as community engagement in my research. Aside from academics, I enjoy spending time outside in my hometown of Channahon, IL, playing with my two dogs, spending time with my fellow graduate student friends, baking too much dessert, and anything to do with Disney!
